{"id":200,"date":"2020-03-02T12:55:59","date_gmt":"2020-03-02T12:55:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/travellogs.co.uk\/wordpress\/?p=200"},"modified":"2026-08-08T17:45:34","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T17:45:34","slug":"these-boots-are-made-for-walking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travellogs.co.uk\/wordpress\/?p=200","title":{"rendered":"These boots are made for walking."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So sang Nancy Sinatra.&nbsp; I imagine that one of the last places that she thought of walking all over was New Zealand.&nbsp; There are 10 so called <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.doc.govt.nz\/parks-and-recreation\/things-to-do\/walking-and-tramping\/great-walks\/compare-great-walks\/\" target=\"_blank\">Great Walks of New Zealand<\/a> developed and maintained by the New Zealand Department of Conversation.&nbsp; The newest and 10<sup>th<\/sup> Great Walk, called the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Paparoa Track (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/media.newzealand.com\/en\/story-ideas\/walking-in-nature-paparoa-track-a-world-of-its-own\/\" target=\"_blank\">Paparoa Track<\/a>  was officially opened along its full length on 1<sup>st<\/sup> March 2020.
