Vienna is sometimes lost between the classic weekend break destinations of Paris, Rome and Barcelona and the newer ones of Prague, Budapest and Dubrovnik.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However it has so much to offer whether you are on a short weekend break or longer.  Vienna was the capital of the Habsburgs for over 600 years from here the vast Austro-Hungarian Empire was ruled.
