It is one of Johann Strauss II most famous pieces.\u00a0 The video below is the instrumental version.\u00a0 There is also a choral version which starts \u201cDanube so blue, \u201cso bright and blue.\u00a0 Personally, I have only seen the Danube a murky brown!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/iOD2tvNuzig\n<\/div><figcaption>Wiener Philharmoniker &#8211; An der sch\u00f6nen blauen Donau, Op. 314<br><br><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Danube has its origins in the Black Forest and flows for 1,785 miles until it reaches the Black Sea.\u00a0 On its travels it passes through 10 countries.
